About Colombia Huilo Supremo

From a group of small Rain Forest Alliance certified farms, one of the most demanding sustainability seals, located within the Huila region. They all use manual hand-crank depulping machines to remove the washed cherry from the beans and raised beds for sun drying. Arabica variety: Caturra, Typica. Altitude: 1520-1650 m.a.s.l. Cupping Notes: well balanced acidity with a delicate body. Starts off sweet and with slight notes of tart fruit, and finishes with a bittersweet, dark cocoa note.
